Parker's Barker

Indie favorite Parker Posey, bundled up in a bright red jacket, took her micro-pooch for a walk early yesterday morning in New York. The ongoing writers' strike was a blessing in disguise for Parker - her once ill-fated sitcom, "The Return of Jezebel James" is being given a slot on FOX's winter schedule - and with "American Idol" as a lead-in, it could prove to be a big hit for Parker. Right now, however, she looks happy with her puppy - a far cry from her neurotic character in "Best in Show!"
