Elton John's still standing as he returned to his
Beverly Hills hotel yesterday after a day of shopping in West Hollywood
with his husband,
David Furnish. Elton was in LA to host his 16th annual Oscar viewing
dinner and post-ceremony bash. With Vanity Fair not throwing their
post-Oscar party third year, Elton's shin-dig was the place to be and
his guests included Ellen Degeneres, Portia de Rossi and award winners
Marion Cotillard, Diablo Cody and the Coen brothers. For the first
time, Elton took to the stage at the party and entertained the crowd of
750 guests with a set of some of his greatest hits, including 'Rocket
Man' and 'Tiny Dancer.' The event raised a whopping $5.1 million for
the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Now there's a real winner for you!
