Marcia Cross leaves the driving to someone else, as she gets a ride to
a West Hollywood studio yesterday. The actress was make-up free and
wearing jeans and a green t-shirt emblazoned with a peace sign as she
left her Santa Monica home. Marcia has kept herself busy during her
"Desperate Housewives" hiatus. She was in Washington last week,
lobbying Congress to pass a bill for breast cancer patients that would
end so-called
"drive-through" mastectomies, providing sufficient recovery time in the
hospital for patients after their surgery. That's putting her star
status to good use, isn't it?
