Leggy German-born supermodel Claudia Schiffer turned a few heads as she
strolled down through New York's fashionable West Village on Saturday.
Claudia is following in the footsteps of fellow model Heidi Klum and stepping off the runway to judge some of the top up-and-coming designers in the country. Sound familiar?
Claudia is set to sit at the judges' table at Graduate Fashion Week in London, awarding the prestigious River Island Gold Award to Britain's most talented design student.
The 37-year-old model, who celebrates her 21st year of strutting down the runway, also has another 'Project Runway' connection with the June gig. Victoria Beckham, who helped vote Christian Siriano as the big winner on the Bravo show, was guest judge at Graduate Fashion Week last year.
Oh, and both Heidi and Claudia can rightfully use 'auf Wiedersehen' as their catch phrase.
