Courteney Cox: Lady 'Dirt' Is a Do-Gooder

Courteney Cox is a woman of extremes. She's showing the world what a bad girl she can be as the ruthless tabloid editor on the FX series 'Dirt', but hasn't completely abandoned her maternal, warm n' squishy, Monica from 'Friends' persona, as this shot from the new family flick 'Bedtime Stories' attests to.

Courteney is doing her part to comfort kids in real-life as well. She, hubby David Arquette and BFF Jennifer Aniston have enlisted the help of their celebrity friends, including Orlando Bloom, Kate Beckinsale and Eva Longoria to raise $1 million for the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.

EB is a rare, but serious serious skin disorder that primarily affects kids, causing skin to blister and break at the slightest touch. Courteney, David and Jen, who sit on the foundation's advisory board hope this fundraising initiative also raises awareness of this terrible disorder.

Some good karma is due Courteney's way, but I think only a miracle will be able to bring her a third season of 'Dirt.'
