It's no secret that Madonna is a workout addict. The fitness fiend spent millions on the property next door to her London home to build her own private gym.

Maybe Madge should take it a little easy.

The 49-year-old youth worshiper could be forgiven for adoring her impressively toned biceps, but what can she love about the pumped and gnarled veins in those hands?

They're like the claws of Dorian Gray, aging along with Madonna's face while her body stays (relatively) young-looking.

Soccer star David Beckham played his 100th game for England's national soccer squad in an exhibition match against France and failed to score.

Despite David's wife Victoria and his kids in the stands supporting their father, Becks allowed the French to take the match, 1 -0.

The loss has not dampened David's enthusiasm for the game. He claims he will return to the L.A. Galaxy for a second season, free from the injuries that plagued him so far in Los Angeles.

Said David, 'Touch wood, the ankle's good, the knee's good.'

Heh, heh. He said 'wood.'

Something about that quote makes me a little tingly.

Fergie had a pre-birthday dinner at Hollywood's sushi standby, Katsuya, last night with fiance Josh Duhamel.

The singer, who turns 33 today, wore a snug, cream-hued knit ensemble that made it pretty obvious that she's not sporting a 'lovely baby bump.'

Fergie told Extra's Terri Seymour that she doesn't want to get pregnant until she's married.

I don't know if that strategy is the wisest for Fergie. She shouldn't give Josh a chance to get away.

Liev Schreiber, still working those 'Wolverine' sideburns, reunited with lady love Naomi Watts and son Alexander, jetting to Australia's Gold Coast for a little getaway.

The family reportedly are staying at a vacation home owned by Naomi's mother in Byron Bay, which gives Naomi a chance to show off her adorable eight-month-old son to her Aussie relatives.

After the break, Liev continues filming 'Wolverine' in Australia and New Zealand for the next few months.

So, lucky for us, Liev keeps the cool facial hair on into summer. I dig those sideburns.

Paris is tagging along with Benji's band Good Charlotte as their tour slogs on through Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Estonia, Finland, Greece and the UK.

Feel free to keep Paris out of the country as long as you need to, Benji. Might we suggest a gig in Antarctica?

Kate Hudson is back to work on the comedy 'Bride Wars' in New York after she  spent a weekend with on-again beau Owen Wilson in Miami, where he's filming 'Marley and Me' with Jennifer Aniston.

Kate's flick, which co-stars Anne Hathaway, tells the story of best friends who plan their weddings for the exact same day. Chaos, something approaching hilarity and Bridezilla-like behavior are predicted to ensue.

Kate is also producing the movie, the screenplay of which has been floating around Hollywood since 2004.

Hmmm. An actor in the boss's chair and a stale script. That's always a risky thing.

She brings back the days when 'Purple Rain' was the best. Movie. Ever.

According to IMDB, Apollonia is working on a flick called 'Everybody's A Player.' She can use her experiences with smooth operator Prince to flesh out her on-screen character.

Porn legend Ron Jeremy, who has over 1,000 movies - and some impressive 'equipment' - under his belt, waddled out for a nosh at Greenblatt's Delicatessen in Hollywood.

I could make a joke about Ron stuffing more salami down his pants than he ate, but that's too obvious.

'The Hedgehog' is peeved at porn sites that stream movies without permission, asserting that 'piracy is piracy' and that he and Jenna Jameson 'deserve the same respect' as Steven Speilberg.

Vivid Entertainment is currently suing two main offenders - YouPorn and PornTube.

Think Metallica versus Napster, only with more nudity and less on-screen group therapy.

Velvet Revolver lead singer Scott Weiland managed to get clean (for what seemed like the millionth time) just in time for his band's European tour and rocked the crowds at London's Brixton Academy last night.

However, all may not be well in Revolver-land. At a sold-out gig in Glasgow, Scotland, last week, Scott told the crowd that they were 'watching something special...the last tour by Velvet Revolver.'

Scott later yelled at the band's sound guy, threw his microphone to the ground and stomped off the stage.

Ouch. Scott is taking his former band Stone Temple Pilots on the road in May; so the future of VR is truly unclear.  If I were Slash, I'd update my resume.
