Jodie Foster is a veteran of Disney films, so I'm sure she's seen 'Mary
Poppins' more than a few times. Maybe she's seen it a few too many times.
What else could explain her ill-advised decision to recreate the 'Let's Go Fly a Kite' scene from the classic flick with her sons Charles and Kit during their Hawaiian getaway?
Jodie and the kids look optimistically skyward, but the island winds don't seem to want to cooperate with them, sending the hapless kite nearly careening into their fellow beachgoers.
Why don't you get some breadcrumbs and have the boys re-enact the 'Feed the Birds' number, Jodie? That song always brought a tear to my eye.
