John McEnroe's athleticism has sure paid off, as he flaunted his
still-taut 49-year-old bod on the beach of the Caribbean paradise of
St. Barth's yesterday.
The tennis legend, remembered almost as much for his obscenity-laced tirades as his impeccable tennis playing abilities, has gone from bad boy to family man, spending the Easter holiday on the island with his wife Patty Smyth and his daughter.
Patty may look familiar to some of you. She was former lead singer of the group Scandal. Yes, she was the one 'shooting at the walls of heartache, bang bang' back in the 80s. Patty will always be 'The Warrior' to me.
John has announced that this year will be his final one as a regular on the senior tennis circuit, as he admitted that 'I am not getting any younger.'
He'll continue to play exhibition matches and serve as a commentator on the Tennis Channel, which is on basic cable, so he still has to watch his potty mouth.
