Patrick Dempsey, who plays an attractive doctor on
TV, drives a car that one could only afford on a doctor's - or an
actor's budget, and it's just one of many.
The 'Grey's Anatomy' star took a spin around LA in his vintage Jaguar XK120 convertible on Saturday. The car shares space in Patrick's crowded garage with such other sweet rides as a vintage Mercedes-Benz convertible and a Lotus Exige.
Patrick has certainly earned the right to play with his toys. He was in his home state of Maine last week, where he announced the opening of the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing - a center dedicated to cancer patients and their families at the Central Maine Medical Center.
The center was a labor of love for the actor, and is dedicated to his mother, Amanda who is currently in remission from ovarian cancer. He was able to work out all of the plans during the recent writer's strike.
It's nice to see someone doing something productive on his down time. Now you may go back to your race cars, Patrick.
