Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora is the latest addition to the celebrity DUI club. The rocker was pulled over last night in LA after cops noticed he was driving erratically in his black Hummer. He failed field sobriety tests and was detained for DUI, taken to the Laguna Beach police station and booked.
Richie opted not to take a breathalyzer test and elected to have a blood test, the results of which won't be known for a few days. Police did not suspect that Sambora was under the influence of drugs.
Here's where things go from bad to worse. Richie's 10-year-old daughter with ex-wife Heather Locklear was in the car - as well as another child - when Pop was pulled over. If the blood test shows that Richie was drunk, he could be charged with child endangerment.
And you thought Britney was the only one who shouldn't drive with her kids. The only 'steel horse' Richie should ride from now on is a guitar.
