Will Ferrell: On a Routine Expedition in 'Land of the Lost'

Will Ferrell leaves the world of sports behind for his next flick, the big screen adaptation of the 70s Saturday morning classic 'Land of the Lost.'

The 'Semi-Pro' actor stars as Dr. Marshall - the role he was destined to play since his cameo as Marshal Willenholly in 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back', who goes on an expedition that lands him in a world of Sleestaks and dinosaurs.

In between takes, Will, who strikes me as the kind of guy who can't sit still, rode bikes around the Los Angeles park where scenes for the action-adventure comedy were being shot.

The movie also stars British actress Anna Friel ('Pushing Daises') and 'SNL' player Jorma Taccone as Cha-Ka. They blew that casting - I could so see Willem Dafoe in the role. And he'd hardly need any make-up.
