German supermodel Claudia Schiffer looks elegant even while holding a pink scooter and a backpack as she takes her 3-year-old daughter Clementine to school in west London on Monday.
The 37-year-old model Mom - and many of her contemporaries - are once again becoming a hot commodity for designers. Claudia, Stephanie Seymour, Naomi Campbell and Eva Herzigova are all being featured in an ad campaign for Louis Vuitton bags. Claudia also appears in ads for Salvatore Ferragamo as well as Chanel, along with Christy Turlington.
Modeling agent Scott Lipps says that these models are being hired more for their star power than their looks, admitting, 'These girls are not only timeless, but celebrities in their own right. Advertisers know they can help take brands to a whole other level.'
If this trend continues, could it signal the end of 'America's Next Top Model'? We can only hope.
