It's time to take a little trip back to that wacky decade of Hypercolor
clothes, acid washed jeans and gummi shoes, that decade we like to
call the 80s.
What better way to celebrate the 'Me Decade' than by reconnecting with the man who made linen suits, pastel hues and scruffy facial hair popular - 'Miami Vice' star Don Johnson, stepping out for dinner with his wife and some friends in LA on Monday.
The 58-year-old actor has traded his Porsche for a Prius - making him the latest celebrity to hop on the green bandwagon.
Don is still rocking the facial hair and may look a little more like 'Tubbs' than Crockett, but I still love him.

Don Johnson’s wife grew her hair long and beautiful for him, (like Melanie did for him during ‘Paradise’) and kept her gorgeous figure after having three of his children. In return, Don packed on some pounds, stopped shaving and stopped washing and coloring his hair. He’s not showing his wife any respect. Wonder what he would do if his wife would cut her lovely hair.
long and beautiful? gorgeous figure? LOL, shes so far from that its funny. Shes always wanted to be some sort of a model but nobody wanted her...shes just another rich girl
so what he lets himself go, good for him, she only wanted him as a trophy now let her deal with it, maybe she will go back to her long time loverboy & girl, and let Don be in peace, live his live as HE wants not as she 'expects'
and got news for you shes already had her hair short, bobbed, long, dyed black with gypsy waves, etc....maybe hes trying to tell her something.....like let me go have my own life

++++Melanie Griffith hated Don's Marboro Man beard, so he didn't keep it after the movie. (((She wasn't on location with him for that film anyway))) DJ always wanted to look his best for Melanie.
+++ Also DJ always pasionately kissed Sheena Easton,,,,,Yasmine Bleeth , ,,,,girlfriend Jody Lyn O'Keefe and numerous Nash Bridges' babes with a smoothly shaven chin,,,or his romantic kisses with these pretty women wouldn't have lasted HALF as long! ;)

Kelley Phleger 'beautiful'? clearly you have never seen her in person, I live/work in W.Hollywood and have seen her several times, and I'd never call her beautiful. She needs a lot of makeup when she is on her photo op hunts and she has this nasty, snotty attitude to those of us who aren't as 'privileged' as she was born into.
And its rumored here that Don looks bad on purpose when he has to be with her in public out of being quietly unhappy in the marriage.
true true don johnson isn't happy in the marriage i think don johnson was so p.o'd at the pap and tmz following him around checking out his trysts around the world that he's trying to disguise himself with a shabby image however it aint working he thinks the pap won't chase him then.he's been seeing a shapely lady in milan named sara from an italian movie he just filmed called return to living alone and he took blonde heather bird to the cannes film fest last year instead of his wife however don johnson shows up with wife kelly to charitable events and such because it looks good to the public but they're rarely together he used to get away with affairs when he was married to melanie griffith because there was no tmz.in them days
I do wish he'd get rid of the beard. His hair needs washing, too.

Scruffy bearded guys as I see it are normally hooked up with fat or plain women - not rich, thin attractive ones. Just my opinion.

I live in Santa Barbara, and have seen him with a tall pretty blonde lady several times. They seem really happy, close and tight.
Saw them in SB by the Wharf in Feb, holding hands, shopping at the beachfront art/crafts fair that was that weekend.
He sure didn't look like he does in these pics or in a few others I've noticed with his wife. I just think its another typical SF/LA marriage of conveinence and he seeks his real happiness elsewhere.
I think he does love all his kids though and they aren't at all suffering.
