Gwyneth Paltrow, grinning and glam, arrives at Claridges
hotel in London for the press junket of her new movie, 'Iron Man.' The
movie, directed by Jon Favreau, has its UK premiere tonight at the Odeon Theater in
Leicester Square.
I'll bet she's so happy because she gets to go home tonight to her adorable kids.
Starring in an action-packed superhero flick isn't what you'd expect from the Oscar-winning actress, who told USA TODAY being on such a 'testosterone-packed' set took some getting used to - not only for Gwynnie, but for her co-stars Terrence Howard and Robert Downey, Jr.
Gwyneth recalled, 'I was the only girl for miles, except for the women working in the wardrobe, hair and makeup departments. I would have time off when the guys would go blow things up in the desert, and every time I went back to work, they were happy to have a girl there. They had kind of forgotten that there were women in the world.'
When asked what kind of super powers she'd want if she were a comic book heroine, she said, 'Flying would be good. I was going to say invisibility, but it’s a little bit dishonest. And X-ray vision is definitely dishonest.'
It's only dishonest if you use it for evil, Gwyneth - and you don't strike me as the evil type.
