Brittany Snow, who we last saw scaring us - as much as she could in a PG-13 way - in 'Prom Night,' was belle of the ball on the red carpet last night at the premiere of her new film 'Finding Amanda.' The screening was part of New York's Tribeca Film Festival.
The indie comedy, which co-stars Matthew Broderick, was written and directed by Peter Tolan, creator of the TV series 'Rescue Me.'
Brittany, playing an adult entertainer/prostitute, said she enjoyed the experience 'because she's an interesting character. She's one of those girls who puts on a front of being happy and really excited about everything, and she thinks that if she ignores the bad parts, then it doesn't become real. It was really cool to play a character that I would not have thought would be my first choice.'
So, does that mean that playing a vapid scream queen in an unnecessary horror remake was your first choice?

Wow, after months of seeing Adrian Grenier looking like this, I never thought I'd hear myself saying, 'He looks sooooo good here.'
A clean-shaven Adrian and his 'Entourage' co-stars Kevin Dillon and Kevin Connolly were at work on the fifth season of their HBO testosterone party in Los Angeles yesterday.
In a recent press conference, Adrian confessed that he was 'actually hyper-romantic, tragically speaking,' and felt that his on-screen persona, Vince, was more charismatic, smoother and even a better actor than he is. He admitted, 'I’m striving to be more like him.'
Adrian cites the exotic locales as a big reason why he's excited to be back in character. 'If it involves the same house for 10 seasons with similar story lines and without location shooting, I may dread going back to work.'
I think he said more, but I'm distracted. I can't get over how much better he looks without all of that facial hair.
Paris Hilton and her boyfriend, Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, dined in Beverly Hills yesterday. As always, Paris attracted a swarm of photographers.
The celebutante seemed to exult in the throng of attention, but Benji...eh...not so much. The hat boy played bodyguard, holding

Even though they're only two months into their shared delusion relationship, Benji has already written a song inspired by his lady love, titled 'Shine Your Light.'
If it's about Paris, 'Change That Dim Bulb' might have been a better title.
Paris also seems to think that Benji is her 'Mr. Right.' 'He's my best friend. He's just different from any guy that I've ever been with. I just trust him completely, and I know that he'd be there for me, no matter what.'
But how long can Benji really handle having to deal with the mob of pushy picture takers following his insatiable attention junkie girlfriend around?

The benefit was to raise awareness about heart diseases in women, and it SUPPOSEDLY featured theatrical performances by Dana, Brenda and fellow sitcomers Eva Longoria, Holland Taylor and Judy Gold, among others.
For the record, I have no idea what kind of talents a handful of television actresses would have to offer the stage, and I will not be convinced the alleged 'performances' actually occurred until I see real live footage of Judy Gold singing opera and Eva Longoria doing the tango in front of a charitable-looking crowd!
