Mischa Barton, who didn't look too thrilled about being in Sydney as the face of Australia's Fashion Week - especially knowing she wasn't the organizers' first choice - skipped town early, but not before making a front row appearance at the Kirrily
Johnston runway show, where she managed to crack a smile.
The former 'O.C.' star even skipped out on MAC's disco-themed party last night - passing up the musical stylings of Danni Minogue, no less - to catch an earlier flight home.
Could be she wanted to snuggle back with her new, rumored beau, Rooney rocker Taylor Locke. Seeing all of those musicians at the MTV Australia Awards must have made her boy-sick.
This picture from the May 15 issue of Rolling Stone says sooo much.
Four entrepreneurial females from 'The Hills' are placed under a headline that screams: 'Inside a $25,000-A-Night Escort Service.'
Heidi Montag is seductively pursing her lips, Playmate wannabe Audrina Patridge is practically fondling herself, Lauren Conrad
is feigning her signature open-mouthed expression that says 'I'm having the time
of my life (but really I want to kill myself right now),' and Whitney Port is on the very fringes of the picture - her knees chopped off, and her body covered with magazine text.
Kinda ironic that Audrina is wedged between Heidi and Lauren, who
allegedly managed to put away their claws long enough to simmer through
their first joint photo-shoot since breaking up. But how much do you
think they had to pay Lauren for this one!?!
Check out some photos from the Rolling Stone shoot below...
According to Sydney's Daily Telegraph, reality vixen Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe were the center of attention at Monday night's Ruth Tarvydas catwalk show - which she was paid to attend - during Australia's Fashion Week.
Wearing a tight black dress (but aren't they all tight on Kim?) from the Perth-based designer's collection,
Kim sat in the front row of the showcase with some of Australia's most
well-known figures. Sister Khloe, also wearing Tarvydas, was at her side, bopping her head to the music as the models strutted down the runway.
While celebrating all things fashion in the land down under, the
socialite/aspiring actress also sneaked a peek at Sydney's new Jimmy
Choo boutique.
Getting paid to attend fashion shows and special invitations to private sales? Kim is rapidly becoming Tara Reid's dark and fully nourished doppelganger, isn't she?
If there's one talent Paris Hilton has, it's knowing not to put all her eggs in one basket ... especially when it comes to placing her simpering mug in the tabloids.
Just when I thought I would vomit if I heard one more 'I'm the happiest I've ever been with my fabulous rocker boyfriend who probably doesn't shower' (ok, I added the last bit) coming from Paris's publicity glossed lips, the hotel heiress finds a new way to promote herself (and her greasy, gummi bear friends).
That's right, charity...
Despite toting a camera crew of her own, Paris gave paparazzi the heads-up that she would be shopping at Kitson
yesterday afternoon - where she shows up wearing a patient smile and
a 'We HEART to Erase MS' t-shirt to film a segment for the charity 'Race to Erase MS,' which is run by the doting mommy of trust-fund party pals Brandon and Jason Davis. Check out the madness.
People say paparazzi are rude. But at least they didn't make Paris look bad by asking if she knows what the letters MS stand for.

'Sweeney Todd' director Tim Burton, wearing his trademark blue-tinted shades, stepped out to meet some friends at a pub near his London home yesterday.
Tim has a good reason to want to drown his sorrows. His former girlfriend, model/actress Lisa Marie, whom he dated for 10 years before leaving her for Helena Bonham Carter, alleges that the director has tricked her out of promised assets from their relationship.
The actress claims that Tim agreed to 'bankroll her for life' in exchange for serving as his personal manager and acting in his films. Wow, bankrolled for life for playing a mute alien in 'Mars Attacks' and Vampira in 'Ed Wood', - that's a great deal.
Tim, in a seven-page statement said that he's done nothing wrong. On the contrary, he claims he sold two apartment buildings he owned in New York and borrowed $3.5 million to pay her. He even paid the gift tax to the IRS for the payments he made to her, to the tune of over $715,000.
The hearing in this case continues on July 14. Lisa Marie's acting career never continued. If you had been nicer, I'm sure there would have been a lovely, non-speaking role just for you in 'Sweeney Todd.'
Australian actress and model Sophie Monk consults with the film crew on her latest comedy 'Hard Breakers' while filming a scene where she and a friend drive a Mustang convertible with a pair of upside-down surfers in the back.
The indie comedy, currently in production in Canoga Park, California, stars Sophie as Lindsay, a young, hot, single gal, who with her equally hot friend tries to navigate the LA dating scene. Sophie's played the 'hot chick' in 'Date Movie' and 'Click,' so it's good to see her really spreading her wings here.
But, don't think that this girl is a one-trick-pony. In movies coming soon, she's playing a hot chick on spring break in the retro comedy 'Spring Break '83' and a hot chick on spring break sharing her vacation destination with a trio of thirty-somethings in 'Spring Breakdown.'
Gwyneth Paltrow stayed dry, with a little help from a friend, as she stood outside the Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC last night. The actress appeared on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' to promote the highly-anticipated 'Iron Man', which opens on Friday.
The Oscar-winning actress was working her new, sleeker look, complete with outrageously high heels, which may not be a good idea, as she admitted to David that she fractured her tibia while shooting the superhero flick, stating, 'I'm a moron and I always bash into things by accident...I've broken my toes, like, 30 times.'
Gwyneth was glad to dish about her kids on the late night chat fest, and talked about the difference between her 4-year-old daughter Apple and 2-year-old son Moses. Apple's "quiet...imaginative and...very verbal, and she likes to sit with her things and build houses and hotels for her dolls' and Moses 'will just come in and thrash the hell out of anything she's doing. If he can inflict pain on her while he's thrashing, then even better.'
The actress said of her son, 'we call him 'our sensitive thug.' It's a line from a Jay-Z song, but it fits him perfectly.' Gwyneth quoting Jay-Z. That's something I never expected. There's a lot about Gwynnie we didn't know.
TV veteran Ricky 'I thought it was Rick' Schroder was seen taking a stroll in Malibu yesterday. The 38-year-old actor, who was most recently seen as Mike Doyle on the hit series '24' will always be the kid in 'The Champ' to me. I don't think I ever cried so much than I did at the end of that flick.
Up next for Rick(y) is the sci-fi mini-series 'The Andromeda Strain,' which is based on the Michael Crichton novel and 1971 movie, about a mysterious virus that kills an entire town and the scientists who must stop it before it spreads.
You know, they're bringing all of these old TV shows back, like '90210', so is anyone else ready for the return of 'Silver Spoons'? Rick(y) still looks damn good and I'm sure Alfonso Ribiero could use the work....
Hilary Duff, wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana dress and Christian Louboutin pumps debuted her new political -themed comedy, 'War Inc.' at the Performing Arts Center in New York City as part of the Tribeca Film Festival.
In the film, produced by and starring John Cusack, Hilary plays an outrageous Eastern Euopean pop star named Yonica Babyyeah (sounds like she should be in the next 'Austin Powers' movie). Hilary told the Insider that the film, which has a multitude of comic twists and turns, is 'a little out there, but it has a strong message to it.'
He went on to say that she took on the more grown-up role because, 'I was ready to do something totally different and really challenge myself.'
Sadly, after going to 'War', Hilary isn't making 90210 her new ZIP code. The actress squashed rumors that she had been offered a part on the CW revival of the 90s classic, telling Us Magazine that the rumors weren't true.
Awww, Hilary, give '90210 v. 2.0' a chance. Maybe your 'War' character Yonica could make a guest appearance or two performing at the Peach Pit?
