Janet Jackson was wearing a rather revealing top as she left LA's Katsuya on Saturday night. The 'Feedback' singer had a reason for celebration, as she was awarded with the Vanguard Award at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation [GLAAD] Awards at LA's Kodak Theater that evening.
Winning the award puts Janet into an elite club, which also includes Antonio Banderas, Whoopi Goldberg, Liza Minnelli and Charlize Theron. Upon receiving the award, Janet said, 'I love it. I never expected it in a
million years so when I heard they wanted to honor me, I was really
taken aback. It's just for the work that I've done with AIDS
and acknowledging the gay and lesbian community through my music and so
on. I'm just very appreciative.'
Janet confessed to E! Online that she approved of gay marriage, her girl crush was Alicia Keys and that she thought drag queens could even 'out Janet' her. As far as being labeled a gay icon, the singer said, 'I never thought of that or looked at myself in that way, but I'll wear the title. I'll own it.'
Own the title, work that look. You might as well while you can - before the drag queens steal it.

Miranda, who started her career in fashion, has designs of publishing a self-help book for teen girls addressing nutrition and exercise. In the book, reportedly titled 'Treasure Yourself,' Miranda trouts the benefits of carrying magnets and food combining.
Orlando's model girlfriend takes care of her man with a morning meal of garlic, kale and spinach, which is supposedly a great pick-me-up. Pick-me-up and take me right into the bathroom perhaps?
The young model, who studied nutrition and sport psychology, feels it's her mission to put girls on the right healthy path. She says the book is made up of 'a whole lot of information that I’ve found, that has helped me. If I can help one girl by doing this then I’ve completed my purpose.'

Former 'O.C.' star Mischa Barton doesn't look too thrilled about modeling some Aussie fashions at Sydney's Circular Quay today.
The actress, who's in town for Australia's Fashion Week and to present an award at Saturday night's MTV Australia Awards, could be looking sad because she wasn't the first choice to be the face of Australia's annual fashion fest.
According to a story in Sydney's Daily Telegraph, Mischa was a last-minute replacement for a 14-year-old Polish model named Monika
Jagaciak. Event organizers were forced to replace the child mannequin because of her obscene youth.
Mischa is managed by IMG, who also run Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, so it was easy to enlist the actress to dive down under.
Well, it's not like Mischa has a ton of commitments here in the US.
Just a week after racy homemade photos of Miley Cyrus leaked onto the internet and brought a stink of discontent into the world of 'Hannah Montana' fans, the camera has caught Miley with her pants down again.
The
15-year old Disney star released a public apology for her photo
shoot in an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair, which pictures her cloaked in a bed sheet. Miley whinnies:
'I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and
now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so
embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.'
Disney, a company that has for decades created situations to
manipulate 15-year-old girls for profit, was also outraged, telling ET: 'Unfortunately, as the
article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a
15-year-old in order to sell magazines.'
Couldn't Miley's Mom and Dad with their religious family values
have protected their daughter from this gross indignity? Definitely
not, according to Vanity Fair.
'Miley's parents and/or minders were on the set all day.'
So basically, you've got Miley and Disney blaming Vanity Fair, Vanity Fair saying no one's at fault, and an unlikely third party of people who point the finger at Miley.
'Miley has a reputation for doing racy things,' a spokesperson for the Christian Coalition of America chimes in. 'She should have thought this out before she agreed to go.'

have to say, it's kinda nosy for the Christian people to butt
their snouts into Miley's life, but they've got a point. If you don't want
to appear to be half-naked in a photo shoot, maybe you
shouldn't get half naked in a photo shoot!

The singer told Britain's Sun newspaper that Ugenia was like her 'inner brat' and said writing for kids 'was so natural. I am very childlike and silly and I found children relate to my wackiness. I have a language they respond to.'

Reality star Kim Kardashian, wearing a whole lotta fabric, took a stroll along Sydney's Bondi Beach promenade with her sister Khloe on Sunday.
Kim's Australia jaunt was funded by Perth-based designer Ruth Tarvydas, who basically paid Kim to sit in the front row at her Australian Fashion Week show tonight. Kim will also be the special guest at Tarvydas's exclusive post-show party at Darlinghurst bar De Nom.
I wonder what Khloe had to do to be there?
In other Kim news, E! has reported that Kim will soon be making her big screen debut in a 'major studio film.' Kim's excited, describing the movie as a comedy and 'can't wait' until the cameras start rolling this May.
Well, she does have a widescreen kinda body...guess this was inevitable.
