Los Angeles' El Rey Theater was home to last
night's inaugural US version of respected British music magazine NME's
annual awards ceremony.
Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro reunited with the original line-up of alternative mega-group Jane's Addiction, who picked up the 'Godlike Genius' award and performed a mini-set of their hits, including 'Stop,' 'Mountain Song' and 'Jane Says.'
The Clash's Mick Jones took home a trophy dubbed the "inspiration award" before performing two songs with his current outfit, Carbon/Silicon. Other presenters included Kelly Osbourne, who entertained the crowd with some crotch jokes and U.K. model Agyness Dean, who gave an award to the wrong band.
Guess Dave and the boys were the only 'geniuses' on hand.
Check out the gallery to see the honorees and guests including Kimberly Stewart, director Eli Roth, Pete Wentz and Bijou Phillips.
