Judy Greer, who has endured a lot of 'Hey, it's that girl!'
roles in movies like '13 Going on 30' and 'Cursed' and such TV shows as
'Arrested Development' and 'Love Monkey' is finally in the spotlight in
her first leading film role.
Judy's star started to rise on the popular ABC sitcom, 'Miss Guided' and her role in the upcoming dark comedy 'Barry Munday' could cement her leading lady status once and for all.
In the film, currently in production in LA, Patrick Wilson plays a serial womanizer who just can't keep it in his pants - and through a beat down by an angry father, loses the berries to his twig - if you catch my drift. Judy plays a woman he was unaware he impregnated who files a paternity suit against him.
Sound weird? That's only the beginning, the supporting cast includes Chloe Sevigny, Malcolm McDowell and Lando Calrissian himself, Billy Dee Williams.
Oh, and if that's still not odd enough, the book upon which the movie was based, 'Life is a Strange Place,' also features 'a crazy ex-girlfriend, her rabid dog, and a mob of angry gay midgets.'
Well, I never said I saw Judy as a conventional leading lady.
