Leighton Meester stepped into the shoes of a New York socialite on Monday as she joined a star-stuffed audience at the opening night of 'La Fille Du Regiment' at the Metropolitan Opera, in New York's Lincoln Center.
Leighton's gold-hued Yves Saint Laurent cocktail dress was a perfect compliment to her dyed auburn locks (she's really a blond) and fair skin.
The 'Gossip Girl' star, who is reportedly going to guest star in an episode of 'Entourage' this upcoming season, was asked about her love life prior to the event and she merely said, 'My dog is in L.A. right now...so I’m a little lost without him!'
