Tim Burton's Woman Woes

'Sweeney Todd' director Tim Burton, wearing his trademark blue-tinted shades, stepped out to meet some friends at a pub near his London home yesterday.

Tim has a good reason to want to drown his sorrows. His former girlfriend, model/actress Lisa Marie, whom he dated for 10 years before leaving her for Helena Bonham Carter, alleges that the director has tricked her out of promised assets from their relationship.

The actress claims that Tim agreed to 'bankroll her for life' in exchange for serving as his personal manager and acting in his films. Wow, bankrolled for life for playing a mute alien in 'Mars Attacks' and Vampira in 'Ed Wood', - that's a great deal.

Tim, in a seven-page statement said that he's done nothing wrong. On the contrary, he claims he sold two apartment buildings he owned in New York and borrowed $3.5 million to pay her. He even paid the gift tax to the IRS for the payments he made to her, to the tune of over $715,000.

The hearing in this case continues on July 14. Lisa Marie's acting career never continued. If you had been nicer, I'm sure there would have been a lovely, non-speaking role just for you in 'Sweeney Todd.'

My life's been completely bland today, but pfft. I haven't been up to much these days. It's not important. I don't care. That's how it is. Today was a complete loss, not that it matters.,
