'Watch' Out - Alanis Morissette is Back

Canadian singer Alanis Morissette entertained the crowd at a gala event called 'The Crossing' in Geneva Switzerland last night.

During the event, which is part of the Geneva Watch Fair, Alanis performed songs from her upcoming album, 'Flavors of Entanglement' for the international guests, including Kevin Spacey, Elle MacPherson and Jean Reno.

'Flavors' is Alanis' first studio album in four years. The 33-year-old singer told Live Daily that she needed to take the time to recover from personal and professional setbacks - most notably the end of her long-term relationship with hunky actor Ryan Reynolds.

Says Alanis, 'I just needed to figure out who I was and step away from pretty much everything, including my career. So it was good. It was very mandatory and well used.'

I don't know about you, but I think she should have recorded the album right after the break-up. Angry Alanis rocks.
