'I'm ready to marry Spencer. He's my soulmate,' the blonde bombshell dishes of plans to reconsider the white wedding she once gave up on sharing with her sometimes immature boyfriend.
According to Spencer, who has been hard at work winning back his ex, he's changed his ways for round two of their engagement.
'Heidi read me biblical passages like "honor thy wife,"' the lookalike blonde beau says.

Oh really? It looks to me as though Virgil sampled a range of SAT scores from ~870 to ~1400. That's a pretty large range.
I highly doubt the validity of this. How many people were tested? Also, high SAT =/= high intelligence. There is so much more to "intelligence" than can be inferred from one cognitive test. Treat this experiment and this article with a grain of salt.

I don't have an SAT score because in Europe we don't rely on IQ-tests that much. Although in some tests I got an IQ between 130 and 140, I also appreciate black music a lot.
I would clearly second the statement above "correlation does not equal causation". In fact it is not music that makes you dumb or smart, but different social groups have different cultures. Therefore it is more likely a socio-demographic and socio-economic issue than one of intelligence. I don't think this study was intended to be racist, but in some way it tends to be abused for despicable motives.
I think the sample group should have been a lot bigger. Some of the correlations i can definitely understand, but some of them seem a little out of whack. CAKE for instance puts it's listeners in the 1000 range, that's below "Jimmy Eat World" and "Linkin Park". Also note that in people who listen to "Classical" fall into the 950-990 range, however "Beethoven" listeners are the smartest on the list. Is Beethoven not classical? There is no real organization here it's mostly random, so as to say that the findings are, "anyone can listen to anything". Myth Busted.
