Jerry O'Connell is adorable. There, I said it. The actor, accompanied
by his Dad Mike, mixed and mingled with the rich and famous at
Saturday's Kentucky Derby at Louisville's Churchill Downs.
Jerry, who has always struck me as the adventurous type, spent the week before the race as a competitor in the in the Drambuie Pursuit. The race pits ten teams against each other on a grueling course that covers 100 miles of terrain through the Scottish Highlands
Among the challenges faced by the team were speedboat and dirt buggy races, hill climbing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, biking on their journey from the Isle of Skye to Inverness. Jerry's team finished seventh. At least they finished.
The actor, who most recently appeared on the small screen in the short-lived ABC comedy 'Carpoolers' has signed on to join the cast of the FOX comedy 'The Inn,' playing the manager of a hip NYC hotel.
Hopefully this show will have a better lead-in than 'Cavemen.'
Check out the other gambling celebs at Saturday's race, including Heidi and Spencer, Larry Birkhead, Hugh Hefner and Tom Brady in the gallery.
