Actor John Goodman was looking very 'Blues Brothers 2000' as he posed
for photos outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York yesterday.
John was in the Big Apple to promote 'Speed Racer' on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' - he plays Emile Hirsch's Dad, Pops Racer.
Actor John Goodman was looking very 'Blues Brothers 2008' as he posed outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York yesterday.
John was in the Big Apple to promote 'Speed Racer' on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' - he plays Emile Hirsch's dad, Pops Racer.
John has realized that he's not nearly the gearhead Pops Racer is. He joked that 'Trying to tune up my own cars, it was not unlike a chimpanzee,' referring to Speed Racer's simian pal, Chim-Chim.
But John does like to drive real fast. He said that on an L.A. to Texas jaunt a few years ago, he drove his Impala SuperSport up to 140 mph.
That car's gotta have one powerful engine to move the mighty John that fast.
