McDreamy Can't Read

I'm pretty sure it's not nice to make fun of people who have learning disabilities. Which is why I'm only stating the facts: Patrick Dempsey says he can't read.

The Grey's Anatomy hottie recently told his sob story about why he almost quit acting: he is dyslexic.

'Because of my dyslexia I had to memorize all the dialogue for auditions,' the high school drop-out said.  'If I forgot it, I would then have to get over my frustration. If you constantly don't get the part it's very frustrating.'

Lucky for McDreamy, his luck turned upside down and his memory turned him right-side up, as we now feast our eyes and ears on his stuttered eloquently delivered lines every week. 

Pat's struggles are less nowadays because he is rich and important enough for people on set to treat him special, and also because he has gone back to Kindergarten to hone his reading skills.

'I've gone back and started to learn to read on a very basic level,' he says of his nightly book-reading sessions with 5-year old Talula.  'I'm healing that part as well as developing my daughter.'

Awwww.
