After a lengthy shoot in Miami, filming on the 'Marley
and Me' has moved to Philadelphia. The film tells the story of a
journalist and his wife who, before deciding whether or not to have
kids, had a practice run for parenthood with an out-of-control Labrador
retriever.
The 'dog as child substitute' thing worked for us! What was supposed to become a nursery is now officially a guest room.
In the scenes shot yesterday Owen shot in and around the office and newsroom of the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper, where his on-screen character works. he also shot some exterior scenes with 'Grey's Anatomy' star Eric Dane, who plays his best friend in the film.
Jennifer Aniston, who plays Owen's on-screen wife, was off wooing John Mayer in the Big Apple. She's expected to head to Pennsylvania when the production heads to the suburban West Chester area.
Owen's lucky, I'd much rather hang out with Eric than Jennifer.
