Ashton Gets Hairy for Jews

Ashton Kutcher's facial hair fur has been a very important topic in Hollywood the past few months.   The question being, why would the boy want to cover up his pretty mug with all that beastly facial hair?  Was it for a movie role?  Was he trying to channel a woolly mammoth?  What the hell?

Well as it turns out, the facial hair is a nod Ashton's deep Kabbalah faith, which the young actor bought when he became Demi Moore's bitch boyfriend.

• 'Unlike what people think, Ashton is not growing a beard for a role,' an Aston insider shockingly reveals.  'He is growing it because of the Jewish and Kabbalah holiday called Lag Ba’Omer. There is actually meaning behind it.'

Ashton Kutcher, the eternal frat boy, a devout Jew?? 

Except the holiday was May 23rd.  And the hair - it's still there.  Homeboy even sported his fur at a fancy ball a couple weeks ago, where he elicited a barrage of dissatisfaction from female viewers who were disappointed to witness their eye candy go bad. 

Is this Demi's doing?  A secret ploy to keep young women's eyes off her man??

Or is Ashton just utilizing yet another way to 'punk' us?
