Cam & Diddy Get Dirty on the DL

Back in March, the pair took separate exits out of a restaurant after dining together.  They also kept their affection to a minimum at a Soho Lounge last month. But the unlikely couple's discretion apparently ran out last week, when the two were caught on the verge of a kiss at Prince's book-launch party. 

The 35-year-old actress and 38-year-old music mogul were spotted 'laughing and holding hands' while Cameron played mommy to Diddy by spoon-feeding him some bread pudding. Then things got really juicy, according to the Daily News:

• 'After some whispering, Diddy nodded toward Prince's mansion.  Once inside, he led Diaz by the hand through its labyrinthine corridors to Prince's basement. That's where we came upon the entranced twosome standing in the theater's doorway. Diddy was bringing his lips toward hers when he realized someone was approaching. Smiling, they closed the theater's door and locked it. We heard them giggling inside.'
  

Diddy denies all this, calling it 'ridiculous' and saying the two are 'just friends.' 

He's probably telling the truth about there being no romance at play, but he conveniently left off the 'with benefits' part of the sentence.  

Why spills the beans when their fling's gonna fizzle faster than you can say for rizzle??

Then again, we could have another 'Maniston' situation on our hands. You never know with these wildcard couples (and the things they'll do for publicity...).
