I thought I really liked Katherine Heigl a few months ago, but something about her uber-enthusiastic expression on this non-Friday, Saturday or Sunday is annoying.
Perhaps because the character she's playing in this latest romantic comedy looks exactly like the character she played in 27 Dresses and Knocked Up - the sweet, people-pleasing girl next door who's always dropping her jaw in shock over her latest dating blunder.
This time around, Katherine plays a 'romantically challenged' morning show producer who is in love with her co-worker Gerard Butler. Wocka, Wocka, Wocka....
Not sure how Grey's Anatomy can be blamed for typecasting yourself like this, but nonetheless, the rumor that Katherine wants to bounce outta the show in order to 'improve her career' persists.
She just better hope 'moving on' doesn't follow in the footsteps of Shannon Doherty's career!
In the meantime, I'll cut Kat a break for these cheesy Ugly Truth photos, because homegirl's posted up in a hot air balloon, which actually is kind of fantastical.

The rumour only persists about her leaving because bloggers like you keep writing about it. She has said on camera numerous times she is not leaving and has no intention of leaving. Katherine likes romantic comedies and wants to do a few - its completely different from the emotional wringer her character has gone through on Grey's Anatomy. She excels at both comedy and drama in my opinion. How can she follow in the steps of Shannon..Katherine got what $6 million for 27 Dresses...seems like she moved on big time to me. Both Knocked Up and 27 Dresses have grossed over $150 million. She is already a movie star.
