Pierce Brosnan Doesn't Want to Be Old, Replaceable

Pierce Brosnan was spotted doing some of that weird-ass 'standup paddleboarding' near his Hawaiian home this weekend, where he has moved to since becoming old and unwanted by Hollywood.

The 51-year-old actor complained to Parade Magazine this month about the trauma of getting replaced by Daniel Craig.

  • 'I didn’t see that coming.  I never thought of myself as being too old. It was startling to hear such things said about oneself, especially when you thought you were going down that particular avenue and then the door gets slammed in your face.  I thought we were going to do a fifth film. And I was going to take a gracious bow off the stage. Instead of that, you are just told, "Goodbye."’

Now you know how Rene Russo feels, Pierce.

On that note, let's watch the axed 007 enjoy a delicious pacific ocean face plant:

So in case you needed some evidence as to why his James Bond days have passed, there ya go...
