British comedian and actor Russell Brand models the latest in airline comfort wear as he arrived at LAX on Saturday with a mystery woman (who was not 'international model' Phoebe Price - is the relationship over already?)
Anyone else might look slightly ridiculous in a get-up like this - leggings, flip flpos and a cardigan secured with a safety pin - but Russell pulls it off. This still doesn't mean I have been won over by the whole leggings trend however.
Russell, who recently completed a series of stand-up gigs at LA's Roxy Theater will be reprising his 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' character, rocker Aldous Snow in the upcoming Judd Apatow comedy 'Get Him to the Greek' co-starring Jonah Hill. He's also set to star as a con man in the Adam Sandler-produced 'For My Sins' and have his own special on Comedy Central.
But, don't worry, none of this has gotten to his head - it can't through all of that hair, actually. He told the LA Times after a recent gig, 'It's important to keep a spiritual perspective on it, because I am narcissistic and vain. But every time I take myself seriously and think I'm cool, something embarrassing happens. I'm forever reminded I'm a bit of an idiot, really.'
Some could argue that this outfit could serve as a reminder - but personally, I think he's awesome.
