Katie Holmes was seen leaving an acting school in Manhattan today, because she's actually serous about this whole Broadway thing.
The Scientology-brainwashed actress will star in her first play - All My Sons - this fall, alongside big stars Arthur Miller, Dianne Wiest, Patrick Wilson, and John Lithgow.
So far, Broadway-goers aren't really biting. Perhaps because tickets are selling for twice as much as usual and ten times more than they should. Or perhaps because it's obvious as hell that Katie Holmes isn't famous for her brilliant acting. Girlfriend's no Julia Roberts.
Anyhoo...on the Katie front that people DO care about - Tom and Katie are gonna live alone for the first time ever. After two years of living with Tom's sister, nephews, mom, and two kids, the pushover is blacklisting the in-laws from their new $35 million house.
Guess Tom will have to get some pets to distract Katie from his gay affairs double life!
Paris Hilton has her paws on a new fashion endeavor...shoes.
And to remind us of what she's already accomplished, the heiress wore
one of her own purses to the footwear launch party at Pure in Vegas last night.

Paris's launch party also included her singing one of the tracks on her album, a remix of Rod Stewart's 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy.'
Rhys Ifans and Kimberly Stewart are dating each other, because nobody else wants to. And because the best pillow talk is the kind where you trash your exes together.
You may recall that Rhys was recently dumped by Sienna Miller, who got together with the greaseball while rebounding from her split with Jude Law. Who slept with Kimberly Stewart just a couple months ago.
So, not surprisingly, Rhys was a little pissed about being caught with another of Jude's sloppy seconds last night.
The two met up at Bungalow 8 nightclub, and snuck out the back door to avoid the paparazzi. Then, they tried to lose the paparazzi by driving around the city for an hour before giving up and heading back to Kim's apartment. While walking Miss Stewart to her door, Rhys took the drunk opportunity to curse at photographers. Then he got in a car and drove off by himself. A few minutes later, he came back, swore at the paparazzi more, and went inside to make love screw Kim's brains out.
