Ashley Tisdale In A Suit on her Birthday (But not her Birthday Suit)

Yesterday Ashley Tisdale slipped off her ugly gladiator sandals and into a striped bikini because apparently she isn't a fan of Maui's nude beaches - despite it being the perfect opportunity for wearing her birthday suit.

The High School Musical star celebrated her 23rd birthday by pulling a Britney - she flew back-up dancer boyfriend Jared Murillo to paradise for a day of beaching and tanning.  Though as part of her Disney contract, Ashley replaced' Brit's ciggies and booze with boats and life vests.

And surprise, Ashley might be engaged. Girlfriend sported some silver bling on her ring finger, suggesting that she's jumping on Hollywood's wedding bandwagon - or just wants people talking about her.

I'm guessing the latter.  'Promise rings' are the best way to get attention show your devotion without having to go through the whole wedding and divorce process.
