Angelina Jolie finally gave birth to those lucrative little twins on Saturday - a well-rounded boy-and-girl pair. For real this time. The birth took place via cesarian section at Lenval Hospital on the French Riviera.
Keeping with Brangelina's forte forweird 'original' baby-naming, the twins are Knox (because it 'matches' Maddox and Pax) and Vivienne (because it means 'alive' in French).
Thanks to a kick-ass epidural, Angelina was 'speaking and laughing' during the birth, while weepy Brad Pitt playing doctor's assistant by helping to cut the umbilical cord.
No official statement from Brangelina's reps - who are apparently on vacation too - so Angelina's doctor filled in with the added bonus of making himself famous. He tells Us Magazine:
Meanwhile, Angelina's brother and make-out partner James Haven already paid a visit to Ange (and her four hospital rooms), while daddy Jon Voight says he is 'over the moon' celebrating the births overseas.
And the local French peeps are thrilled too. Nice's mayor publicly showed off Knox's birth certificate yesterday, saying he would be 'honored' if 'the most famous couple in the world' chose to make their newborns French citizens.
Pretty sure the mayor will be especially honored when Nice's tourism market explodes in the next few months.

- '[Brad] was perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional.
- Saturday was a great day for all. The babies are good, as is Angelina. She will stay for a few days. You know, in Europe it isn't like in the United States, where the patients go home after three days. They will stay a bit longer until everything is okay.'
