A few months after Spencer and Heidi dined with George Bush, Heidi Montag seems to be gettin' cozy with the family of George's would-be successor.
Heidi and her newest BFF, Meghan McCain, were spotted lunching at Ivy on the Shore in Santa Monica today. Just the intimate two of them.
'What the hell?' you may ask, wondering what Heidi and John McCain's eldest daughter have in common.
Well it turns out the two blondes can bond over more than just being Republican...they can also discuss fashion!
Meghan aspires to follow in Heidi's designing footsteps, and has already grabbed media attention with a blog about her fashion and pop culture musings. The blog, McCain Blogette, is also a source for tracking daddy John McCain's campaign trail, which Meghan is working on full-time this summer.
Way to reach out to those younger American voters, Meghan.
One thing the blogger could work on, however - is keeping a little cash on hand. She was no help to Heidi when the Hills hottie fetched her car from the restaurant valet and realized they wouldn't accept plastic. Lucky for Heidi, a few paparazzi were there to cover her ass.
And yes, the paparazzi were completely oblivious to the fact that they were filming John McCain's daughter, who got her first dose of what it's like to live in L.A.: nobody gives a shit about politics.
