Nicole Kidman Gives Birth for First Time Ever

After a lifetime of combating miscarriages, Tom's low sperm count, or whatever else prevented her from betting preggers, 41-year-old Nicole Kidman has popped out a healthy baby girl.

• 'I didn't think I'd get to experience that in my lifetime,' Nicole told Vogue earlier this month.  'I like the unpredictable nature of it. To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I'm going to embrace that completely.  [Being pregnant] taps into that thing in human nature that is universal and collective and beautiful.'

Keith Urban also chimed in with some parental sap on his website today:

• 'Earlier this morning, Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today.'

Keith's Christian baby weighted 6 pounds, 7 ounces, in case you care about that sort of information.  Which I personally don't. I mean, what does that actually tell you about a baby anyway?  It might be fat or scrawny when it grows up?
