Britney Spears, Russell Brand and an elephant are promoting the VMAs because Russell is hosting the show, Britney is appearing on the show, and well, we're talking about MTV here, so why the hell not an elephant?
Check out their two video promos, in which Britney ditches her dark bi-polar schtick for her original act as hot and airheady (but a little more crazy than we knew her to be in the One More Time days). Plus Russell is kind of funny.
It's still up in the air whether Brit's gonna be up for performing at the VMA's this year...but it doesn't look like any head-shaving incidents are set to occur anytime soon, so here's hoping.
