Joaquin Phoenix Says 'Bye Bye Hollywood'

Joaquin Phoenix stunned an E! Online interviewer Monday when he 'exclusively' mumbled revealed his plans to quit acting.

'I've done that.  I've been through that,' he said arrogantly.  So arrogantly, that the E! dude mirrored my thoughts and assumed he was kidding.

I'm not sure whether to be more surprised by the news of Joaquin's retirement, or just how seriously he takes himself.   His reaction to being laughed at reminds me of that time he got mad at Eva Mendes for referring to him as a 'puppy dog.' Which, apparently, is horribly offensive.  Egomaniac much?
