So I was wrong about the origin of those jeans Katie Holmes has been wearing everyday for like the past 50. The family member that they belong to is Katie's husband, not her grandpa.
The jeans are a pair from not only Tom's closet, but also his personal design of 'Prps jeans.' Because chicks and David Beckham aren't the only celebrities who like to spread their names all over fashion.
'It's the new look Katie is going for,' a source told Us Magazine, explaining that Katie has been rolling the jeans up to make up for the negligible two inches of height Tom has on her (she's 5'7, he's 5'9"). That...or she's trying to squeeze at least some femininity into the outfit by exposing her flashy heels.

Tom has adapted the style for women in the new fall collection as 'the boyfriend Jean,' the couple's rep reported.
