The former MTV VJ and Entertainment Tonight host strolled New York while promoting her biggest acting gig since before Nick Lachey ever. 

And apparently the career-wrecked star hasn't burned her bridge with MTV after allegedly getting fired for 'diva demands' last year, because they actually let her promote her cheesy new flick, Disaster Movie, on TRL.

Do you think they'll offer her the VJ job back once this movie tanks?  Newlywed re-runs aren't gonna pay Nick's way forever.
