There are only two possible explanations for this dinner date between Mary-Kate Olsen and Nicole Richie: A friendly exchange of starvation tips or a death threat issued by Nicole to MK to keep her hands to herself.
I'm gonna go ahead and guess the former since they were later spotted sitting together at the Marc Jacobs fashion show. It's nice to see these two have buried the hatchet, but anyone with an extensive knowledge of celebrity gossip would know that a reunion probably isn't the best thing for Nicole's new mommy image.
A little part of me was hoping for the latter explanation though. It's just more fun picturing Nicole dragging MK into the back alley of The Carlyle for a little preview of the consequences she could suffer if spotted on Joel Madden's lap again.
