Turns out Anne Hathaway had some really good reasons to dump and sell out her ex-boyfriend Rafaello Follieri for being a fraud. Besides just the fact that he stole money from people. The New York Post reports:
Is this seriously Anne Hathaway's life or did we just enter a James Bond movie? And to think, I had her pegged as the sensible, girl-next-door type.

- The "Get Smart" actress paid her beleaguered beau's whopping $37,000 monthly rent at his sumptuous Olympic Tower duplex for four months until finally, in June, his lease ran out - and she ditched him as the feds closed in on his schemes, a titillating new Vanity Fair report says.
- "You were the love of my life," she told him. "I'll always love you. You know that, baby."
- Six hours later, the feds busted in and hauled off the 29-year-old Follieri in handcuffs on charges of money laundering and wire fraud.
- Follieri's rise from immigrant son of middle-class parents to a debonair businessman - who hobnobbed with everyone from Bill Clinton's confidants to the pope - was an amazing, complex tale that crumbled like a house of cards.
- His ruse, the feds say, centered on him gathering a group of multimillionaire investors to buy properties that the Catholic Church was looking to unload.
- But perhaps one person not fooled by Follieri was Hathaway's father, Jerry. He had his doubts about the alleged con man back in 2005, when he asked a friend who's a private eye to investigate Follieri, Vanity Fair reports.
