It's obvious from this video footage of Scientologists fighting with Anonymous protesters in New York yesterday that there is a very simple love/hate relationship going on here (especially at the 06:00 mark).
Crazy people secretly all love each other, no matter what side they're on. Can't they just make out and get on with it?

GO ANONYMOUS!
Religion is not an excuse for abuse. Stop hiding behind it.
Fight the good fight, Anonymous
Not every cult is a religion. L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Dianetics / Scientology, originally was adamant that Scientology was NOT a religion (or psychotherapy). The push to get classified as a religion is relatively recent, and gets the cult benefits such as tax exemption other (legitimate) religions do not get; plus cultists get to cry "you're all religious bigots" at any critic, even when the critic is not discussing their BELIEF system (as whacked out as it may be) but the documented abuses of Scientology such as Reclamation Project Force (RPF) gulags, forced abortions in the Sea Organization (a paramilitary wing of the cult), child abuse, child labor, infiltration of governments (Google 'Operation Snow White'), harassment of critics (Google 'Operation Freak Out' + 'Paulette Cooper', or just watch the Fair Game tactics being used in this video by "Prozac Man"), using fraudulent Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) claims to remove YouTube videos critical of the abuses of Scientology (temporarily, fortunately), and a thousand other bad behaviors, illegal acts, immoral behaviors and more perpetrated by the CoS (Church of Scientology), all while it hides behind a belatedly applied self-description as a "religion."
Note that the CoS is a 'religion' with no god, no worship, and teachings you must pay almost $300,000 US to get access to (which end up being, in sum, that you are infested with invisible angry dead space alien ghost cooties, and they are the cause of all your problems in life and the reason why you don't have magical superhero powers).
The CoS also hides behind front groups that target the vulnerable and / or naive, such as Narconon (vulnerable addicts; Narconon has a 'success rate' of 6.6%; doing NOTHING AT ALL has a success rate of 11%), Applied Scholastics / Study Tech (targets children), WISE, Sterling Management, ABLE (targets naive businesspeople) and many, many more.
Scientology: IT IS WORSE THAN YOU THINK.
The "outing" of critics, to intimidate them, is but the tip of the iceberg with Scientology.
