Travis Barker and DJ AM Burned in Fatal Plane Crash

Travis Barker and DJ AM were in a fatal plane crash that killed four people and left them with life-threatening burns Friday night.

The 'TRVSDJ-AM' musical duo were headed back from a concert in South Carolina when their private leerjeet sparked on fire and crashed before making it off the ground. The two survived only because they managed to leap out of the plane - on fire - and were consequently found by runway attendants.

After being rushed to a burn center in Augusta, Georgia, the musicians are currently being treated for second and degree burns.  Travis has burns on his upper and lower body, while AM - whose real name is Adam Goldstein - has burns on his head and arms.  The good news is both men suffered no other injuries and are expected to 'make a full recovery.'

'Anybody who can survive a plane crash is very lucky,' their doctor told reporters.

Yesterday rapper Jermaine Durpri and AM's ex-girlfriend Mandy Moore were spotted visiting the hospital.  Meanwhile, the musicians' families have spoken up about their loved ones and the deceased, who included Travis' assistant Chris Baker

The cause of the plane's malfunction is still unknown, considering the two-year-old jet had successfully touched down earlier that day and had 'no mechanical issues.'

Sure makes ya want to go flying doesn't it?
