Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Want Their Kids to Be Boring

Here's Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck dropping their daughter Violet at pre-school in Santa Monica last Friday - like the 'normal,' 'traditional' parents that they are want to be. 

'Tradition' is the word of the moment of these two yuppie parents, especially when it comes to raising their kids. 

A friend of the couple recently told Star Magazine that Ben has vowed not to follow in the baby-naming footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Alba, or Angelina Jolie with their second child.

• 'Ben put his foot down and said no way to trendy Hollywood names. If it's a boy, he likes the name Benjamin, not just because it's his name but it's that of his hero, Benjamin Franklin.'

Ben has a point: 'Apple', 'Sunday', 'Honor', and 'Knox' may not go over too well in a sixth grade classroom.
