Eva Mendes returned to her London hotel sporting a pretty purple bruise on her elbow yesterday. Hmmm...wonder what happened. Did Eva slip off the wagon, into a cocktail and then onto the floor? Or was it just a rub from holding the same position too long during one of those intensive Calvin Klein photo shoots?
The Cuban-American actress is in London to fulfill her long-anticipated dream of being a Calvin Klein spokeswoman, and so far she's PR-ing it like a pro.
But don't let her actress-turned-model endeavors sway you, because Eva wants you to know that her entertainment monopoly stops there.
In the October issue of ES Magazine, Eva vents about being compared to fellow Latina Jennifer Lopez, and I want to personally applaud the girl for calling J-Lo out on being the talentless businesswhore that she is. Here's what Eva said:
After having seen Eva in a few (too many) movies, all I have to say is...good luck with that. Putting some of her eggs in the modeling basket (just in case) might not be such a bad idea.
