Chicago director Rob Marshall - also known as one of
Hollywood's most brilliant entrepreneurs - has thrown together quite
the celebrity cast for his film adaptation of the famous musical Nine this year.
The megastars will include Kate Hudson, Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Judi Dench, Sophia Loren, Penélope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, and Fergie.
Now if, perchance, that's not a medley to get heads turning, then their dinner party at London's Cipriani Restaurant last night should help.
Looking like a big awkward Bachelorette party crew, Marion, Kate, Sophia, Fergie and Judi Dench were all spotted together in order to kick off shooting for the musical.
The three major questions coming with this film will be - can Kate Hudson sing? Can Kate Hudson act for serious (not just a romantic comedy)? And finally, can Fergie act at all?
Don't gnaw your fingernails down too far while waiting to find out.
