So I guess there was a rumor going around yesterday that Tom Cruise was dead. The rumor went something like: 'Tom Cruise has fallen to his death while filming a dangerous scene for his film Valkyrie in the Kauri Cliffs of New Zealand.'
It's a great story and it probably made the Scientology-hating Anonymous group really happy, but unfortunately for them, it's not true. Not only did Tom not fall off any cliffs, but he wasn't even in New Zealand recently, according to his rep, who calls the story 'unreliable Internet garbage.'
Also invalidating the story are these photos of Tom in New York yesterday, flashing his million-dollar smile as he sneaks out of Katie Holmes's All My Sons opening night performance.
Tom is really dedicated to this whole 'supportive husband' schtick, isn't he? It's almost convincing.
