It's official: Lipstick Jungle is as bad a replacement for Sex and The City as Cashmere Mafia tried to be.
The show about three ambitious career women (Lindsay Price, Kim Raver, and Brooke Shields) got the axe yesterday, after failing to pick up a mainstream audience over the course of one and a half seasons.
But this 'canceled' memo apparently hadn't made it to Brooke's blackberry yesterday though, when she was spotted merrily shooting scenes for the show with Andrew McCarthy in Manhattan.
Or maybe she knew and she just doesn't care that much. After all, she's always got that children's book writing career. Even if her writing sucks - which I'm sure it does - her name should carry her through to sell at least a few copies. It worked for her acting career!
